Owner Katherine Rogers is a lifelong knitter who learned her craft from her mother and grandmother. She’s taught her own daughter to knit, sharing a passion that now spans 4 generations. She has also happily taught extended family, neighbors and friends; this continues at the shop with both classes and individual instruction.

Katherine has fashioned Coastal Purl to include her favorite features of the LYSs she has supported over the years. You’ll find a beautiful selection of yarns, gifts and notions, friendly customer service, a cozy knitting nook and a warm southern welcome.
