Christina is a recent northern transplant from Ohio, so she’s still working on her Carolinian accent. She moved here with Nick, her husband, and Cosmo, her dog. Liza is a blogger and photographer, linking stories with photos to give the reader a complete vision. She “wears many hats” as the old saying goes. Her day starts at the visitors center working on the website and social media. Afternoons and weekends are spent creating memories and art through photography. Her work includes, lifestyle, commercial, fine art, portraiture photography and photo restoration.

A native of Pasquotank County, Graduated with a BA degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Worked at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History in Washington, DC for ten years. Have been researching and writing scripts for the Historic Elizabeth City Ghost Walk since 2003. Wrote the book, “Legendary Locals of Elizabeth City.” Serve as a board member for Friends of the Museum of the Albemarle. Love to travel and spend time at Nags Head.

Will is a higher education administrator, professor, and essayist. He recently moved to Elizabeth City from Acadiana (a heavily Black creole and French-influenced region of south Louisiana). His essays, op-eds, and reflections on college writing, HBCU leadership, college athletics, and Louisiana politics have appeared in peer-reviewed journals, magazines, newspapers, and least-interestingly (but much more snarkily) on his Twitter feed (@DeadLecturer).
