Looking for 4th of July Plans?

Join us in Elizabeth City for an evening of fun, music, and celebration at Mariners’ Wharf Park!

When: Friday, July 4 from 4:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Start off your evening with the First Friday Art Walk hosted by Elizabeth City Downtown Inc. at 4:00 pm. Then stroll over to Mariners' Wharf Park and enjoy live music by 2nd Wynd, with a DJ emceeing and keeping the energy going between sets. Try your hand at free axe throwing, courtesy of Kinfolk Axe Throwing! Snap some memories at the City of Elizabeth City’s 360 photo booth and inflatable photo booth with custom event pictures. Local favorites Ghost Harbor and Seven Sounds Brewing will be there serving up cold drinks. Kids will love the Inflatable Zone on the Museum of the Albemarle lawn, including water cannons with help from the Elizabeth City Fire Department!  Face painting, balloon animals, and plenty of local food trucks round out the fun.

And of course—fireworks!

Stick around for the grand finale, with fireworks scheduled to begin between 9:00 and 9:15 p.m. (weather permitting).
