It's time to lift your glass in honor of local brews as April is North Carolina Beer month. With more than 250 breweries, more than any other state in the South, North Carolinians have ample opportunities for sampling libations at special beer inspired celebrations. In Elizabeth City, you can join in the celebration at these special events while enjoying beer-inspired travel deals.
Events celebrating Craft Beer:
2nd Annual Craft Beer Dinner at Cypress Creek Grill Savor a meal at Cypress Creek Grill featuring Ghost Harbor Brewing Company craft beers paired with succulent entrees from Executive Chef Bradley Chambers. Bocce, Beer, & Bites Join us on Elizabeth City’s Waterfront Park on Saturday, April 27 for Bocce, Beer & Bites from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm. This event will provide you with fun, laughter and libations. The proceeds from this event will benefit the Albemarle United Way. Bocce Ball – Four-person teams. Entry fee $150. Players can have fun playing and enjoy a creative way to fundraise. Beer – Craft beers provided by Ghost Harbor Brewing will be available for all persons of age. Tickets will be sold for $30 that include 2 drink tickets and a BBQ plate. Bites – Plates full of yummy BBQ pork or chicken will be provided by Currituck BBQ. The all-inclusive ticket for $30 will be best value, but $20 meal only (plus soda, tea, or water) tickets will be sold especially for the little ones. Tickets can be purchased online.
