Women composers will be taking center stage this spring as all of our concert music was written by women. Some of this music was written in the last decade, and other compositions were written more than a century ago. Some of our featured composers are Fanny Mendelssohn Hensel, Jane Marshall, Gwyneth Walker, and Rosephanye Powell. Ranging from spirituals, to jazz, to hymns and folk tunes, this music will entertain you with its diversity of sound and message. Join us as we explore chorale contributions composed only by women.
