Bring your lunch and join us on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 beginning at 12:15 pm, as Tane Casserley, Research Coordinator, Monitor National Marine Sanctuary, will discuss the effects of WWI on NC. Hear the story of brave Americans who went up against Germany’s underwater weapon, the U-boat, and NOAA’s recent work to honor and document these nationally significant shipwrecks off our coast.
