Annual TarWheel Cycling Event

Annual TarWheel Cycling Event

Saturday, April 15, 2023
7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Cycle in beautiful northeastern North Carolina!

The annual TarWheel Cycling Event takes place on a scenic, flat, countryside course through the NC counties of Pasquotank and Perquimans. You have the option of 33, 62, or 100 mile rides. The rides start at Dog Corner Park in downtown Elizabeth City.

You'll cycle by multiple waterfront areas and the majestic countryside, passing farmlands, pastures, barns, and historic homes. You'll pedal by horses, cows, birds, turtles, and other wildlife. Our countryside skylines are amazing! Depending on your chosen route length, some of you will pedal through the quaint little towns of Hertford and Edenton.
