Exhibit Opening: High on the Hog

10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Join us on Saturday, September 28th from 10 am - 5 pm for a ribbon cutting to open this new exhibit, then learn about products made from hogs, participate in hands-on activities, and take photos in a farm scene. DJ Ray Turner from Dixie 105.7 will spice up the day with favorite country songs, and the Owl Feed Ya food truck will be available so you can grab a snack from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. Also enjoy live music by Out 'n the Cold!!

If you choose to, you can also watch preparations for a pig-picking.

From 4 - 4:45 pm, listen to the lecture "Pig and Purpose" by Marlowe Ivey Vaughan, Executive Director for Feeding the Dialogue NC, as she discusses her role on “How to Advocate - Telling Our Ag Story.”
